Orders & Delivery
How long will my order take?
Every piece is made to order and hand-finished, so please allow 2–3 business days before dispatch. Once it's on its way you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking.
How long does delivery take?
UK Standard arrives 2–4 business days after dispatch, and UK Express 1–3 business days. Ireland and Europe take 5–7 business days; the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world take 7–14 business days. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — standard delivery is free on every UK order.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to duties, taxes or import fees, which are the customer's responsibility and aren't included in the product or shipping price.
Our Pieces
What are your pieces made from?
Each piece is made from a plant-based material, chosen because it holds fine calligraphy detail cleanly, and is hand-finished in a soft matte coat.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Very close — but because every piece is finished by hand, no two are perfectly identical. Small variations in shadow and surface are part of how they're made, not a flaw. Colours can also look slightly different from screen to screen.
What sizes are they?
- Calligraphy Coasters: 105mm diameter · 13.5mm height, in sets of 4 or 6 with a fluted holder
- Calligraphy Catchall Tray: 22cm diameter · 4cm height
- Calligraphy Vase: 25.6cm high · 11.5cm wide · 11.5cm deep · 9.5cm opening
Can I put fresh flowers in the vase?
Yes — the Calligraphy Vase holds water, so it's made for fresh flowers as well as dried or faux stems. Refresh the water every couple of days, and rinse the vase out between arrangements.
What colours are available?
Every piece comes in five matte tones: Midnight, Obsidian, Bone, Dune and Moss.
What does the calligraphy say?
Our pieces are inspired by سكون (sukun) — the Arabic word for stillness. Read more in Our Story.
Care
How do I clean my piece?
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and let it air-dry. Avoid abrasive sponges, scouring pads and harsh chemical cleaners, which can mark the matte finish.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No — please don't put any piece in the dishwasher, or soak it for long periods.
Anything else to avoid?
Keep pieces away from direct heat sources such as radiators, hobs and ovens, and avoid leaving them in strong direct sunlight for long periods.
Returns
What if my item arrives damaged?
Email returns@sukunform.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
For orders shipped within the UK or EU, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days. See our Refund Policy for details.
